Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination.  We also believe that our geriatric patients can benefit from twice-yearly exams.  Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  With an ultrasound unit and a flexible microendoscope, many diseases can be diagnosed without invasive procedures.

Emergency Care
:
Please call our main telephone number (850) 243-5080 for instructions for after-hour emergencies.  Emergencies are referred to the Emergency Veterinary Clinic in Niceville or Destin and the Veterinary Emergency Referral Center in Pensacola.

Doggy Daycare:  Dogs who attend doggy daycare, in most cases, are transformed into a calmer and more easily controlled pet.  If your furry friend is getting into things at home (food, trash, furniture, personal items, etc.) he/she is probably sending signals of boredom.  Doggy daycare is a wonderful outlet for all the mischievous energy.  Large or small, your or old, all dogs are allowed to attend daycare.  Before placing your dog in with other dogs, we perform a temperament and behavioral assessment.  This is to ensure that your dog's play style and sociability are compatible with the rest of the playgroup(s).  Daycare is not for every dog so we do our very best to ensure the appropriate level of play is consistent with every dog's needs in order for them to feel confident and safe.  Because the health and safety of every one of our Canine Discovery Center dogs is of the utmost importance, we have medical requirements that all dogs must meet in order to come play for the day.  Each guest must be spayed/neutered, after 6 months of age, as well as up to date on all required vaccinations.
